The Virginia Living Museum’s 11th annual Bacchus Wine and Food Festival, held Feb. 6, 2015, was a sold-out event, with 657 guests enjoying delicious samplings of fine wine, fabulous food from 18 area restaurants, an eclectic mix of live music and a huge silent auction. The event has twice been voted “Best of the 757 Gold” for Galas and Festivals. It raised $73,072 for the Museum’s science education programs and animal care.
The festival was presented by Old Point National Bank and sponsored by Associated Distributors, Kaufman & Canoles, Virginia Health Services, Hampton Roads Event Rentals and Jeff’s Flowers, of Course, Stella Artois Cidre, Devil’s Backbone, OysterPointer and WMBG-740 AM.
