Teacher’s Corner
Science comes alive for students of all ages at the Virginia Living Museum, the mid-Atlantic region’s premier science education facility. Since 1966, the Virginia Living Museum has delivered hands-on education to several million students.
The Museum is a private non-profit organization dedicated to connecting people to nature through educational experiences that promote conservation. The Museum is accredited by the American Association of Museums and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. It is a member of the Association of Science and Technology Centers, the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network, the Eastern Virginia Birding and Wildlife Trail, and the John Smith Trail.
Teachers: Call early for best selection of programs and dates. Consider reserving programs in the fall or winter when the museum is less busy.
