Youth

Summer Junior Volunteers

Each summer, the Virginia Living Museum looks for mature, dedicated high school students (ages 15 and older) who want to make a difference in themselves and their community. Please note that there are a limited number of available volunteer spots. We invite students who excel in the qualities listed above and who would benefit from our program. For best selection of positions, please apply by May 1.

Training for summer youth volunteers begins in early June. Please apply early. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered on a space available basis.

There is a TRAINING FEE of $20 for volunteers upon acceptance into the program. No fee will be required for applying. Any volunteer accepted into the program will be required to pay this one-time fee.
