    Hi, I’m Terri Heib.

My husband and I live at 8324 Bear Lake Drive, Spotsylvania, VA. For security measures, we have installed a gate and cameras at the gate entrance to our driveway. We have cameras around the house and at our dock.

We have recently captured what appears to be a bobcat twice recently in the landscaping at the entrance to our gate.

We do not live near a swamp. We are in a private gated community with 2 man made skiing lakes. No property is less than 5 acres. Most are 6 acres or more. Most of the neighborhood is wooded.

We’ve lived here almost 13 years and we’re aware of a wide variety of animals native to the neighborhood, but capturing the bobcat on our night vision cameras recently was quite astonishing.

Just thought you might like to know.

    Kindest Regards,

    Terri Heib
