Scout Camp Ins | 2024
Bring your pack or troop for an unforgettable night at the Virginia Living Museum! Experience what the museum has to offer after-hours and set up your sleeping bag next to your favorite exhibits. In the morning, get free admission to the museum that day.
Fee: $40 per scout, $30 per adult (1 adult free for every 5 scouts)
Children must be at least 5 years old to participate.

Have you ever wanted to work at a zoo or aquarium? Spend the night with us and learn how VLM keepers take care of all our fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds and mammals. Meet some of our animals up close and have a Q&A with one of our keepers!
Camp-in activities can be counted towards some of the requirements of these badges: Daisy Animal Observer and Space Science Explorer, Brownies Space Science Adventurer and Making Games, Juniors Animal Habitats and Space Science Investigator, Cadets Space Science Researcher and Animal Helper.
Cub Scouts: Magic or Science?
Jan 27-28, Feb 9-10 Full, March 8-9
7pm-9am
These experiments could be magic, but don’t be fooled! We’ll use our scientific thinking to explain how sometimes science might look like magic.
Camp-in activities can be counted towards some of the requirements of these Cub Scout Adventures: Tigers in the Wild, Sky is the Limit, Fur Feathers and Ferns, Forensics, Super Science, and Into the Wild.
