If you have enjoyed a single play date… you will be thrilled with the lessons to be learned in a full day of Play Date fun! Nature is full of fascinating places for you and your young learners to explore – and have fun doing it! What is the soil made of? What kinds of amazing critters might live under a log? How many different colors and shapes of flowers can we find? Bring your junior explorers to the VLM for a day full of family discoveries in nature, and learn how easy and rewarding it is to introduce your child to the fun, healthy and stimulating world of Nature Play! Both indoors and out, you’ll encounter a variety of Nature Play Learning Stations that will showcase examples of activities, crafts and games that you and your family can do together – in your backyard, city park, nature trail, or at the beach – wherever nature can be found!
Cost: included with museum admission
This program is supported by a grant from the Disney Conservation Fund and AZA.
