Blue Birds (ages 4-5)

Let our professional teaching staff provide your child with an appreciation of the natural world through active play, outdoor activities, crafts and other learning experiences. Children may sign up for one or all sessions.

Cost per session: $12 VLM member, $20 non-member
Time: Fridays, 9:30-11am

Registration closes at 4 pm the day before each class.

January 8 – Frosty Frolics
Animals don’t wear snow boots and mittens, so how do they manage on cold snowy days?

January 22 – Snoozing through Winter
Learn about hibernation and animals that spend the long cold days asleep.

February 5 – What’s in a Name?
Raccoon, opossum, bald eagle…we’ll explore the stories behind animal names.

February 19 – Eggstraordinary Eggs
Chickens aren’t the only ones. What other animals hatch from eggs?

March 4 – Buzzing a Hive
We’ll be busy as bees learning the ins and outs of a bee hive.
