Join us to learn more about what the Virginia Living Museum does to preserve threatened/endangered species, and the everyday actions that you can take.
Activities
- 1-4pm Endangered species-related crafts
- 1-4pm Display of endangered species items from our non-live collections
- 1pm Special enrichment for the Red Wolves
- 2pm Feeding of the Roanoke Logperch
- 3pm Endangered Encounters Take a guided tour of some of the Museum’s 12 threatened or endangered animals ($10 members, $12 non-members plus Museum admission)
Support conservation education by adopting one of the Museum’s 11 animals that are listed as either federal or state threatened, endangered or protected.
