Hampton University Professor and Entomologist Dr. Shawn Dash joins us from 11am until 3pm on February 20 and 27.

Dr. Dash will be exhibiting and interpreting a wide variety of non-live insects and other invertebrates , along with a few live examples. Also, at 12:30, 1:30 & 2:30pm he will present a 15 minute talk, “Insects: Sizes, Shapes and Colors Galore!” in the changing exhibit gallery with BIG BUGS. He will explore the Biodiversity of bugs, how ants are more than a household pest, and the role insects play in human health.

Included in museum admission.
