We’re joining science museums around the country with a Pluto Palooza celebrating Pluto and the New Horizons space mission, which will fly by the little world on July 14.
Free observing begins at sunset at the Virginia Living Museum. Enjoy free NASA games, activities and crafts all about dwarf planet Pluto and the New Horizons space mission 5-8:30 p.m.
Choose among six shows in the Abbitt Planetarium:
- The Pluto Show 5:30pm
- Spirit of America 6:30pm
- Virginia Skies 7:30pm
- Laser Spirit 8:30pm
- Laser Queen 10pm
- The Wall 11:30pm
Cost: All shows $3 VLM members, $6 non-members. Double feature $5/$10.
The Wild Side Café is open 6 to 9pm.
