Learn how astronomers see through the atmosphere to study celestial objects in this free talk by NASA scientist Ann Martin at the Virginia Living Museum. 6 p.m. More information...
Free observing begins at sunset. Take a tour of the current night sky with Virginia Skies at 7:30 p.m., followed by three laser shows. “ElectroLaze” at 8:30 p.m. features the latest craze in music Electronic Dance Music. Go back to the days of peace, love and awesome music with Jim Morrison and Laser Doors in “Laser Doors” at 10 p.m. “Dark Side of the Moon” is the seminal laser show experience with one of the most incredible albums of all time at 11:30 p.m. All shows $3 for VLM members, $6 for non-members.
