Join the Plastic Free July Challenge
This July, the Virginia Living Museum will be participating in the Plastic Free July challenge and reduce our usage of single-use plastic waste. Every year more than 380 million tons of plastic is produced, and nearly 50% of this is for single use products – fast food cups, shopping bags, and countless other commonplace objects that we take for granted. This has profoundly harmful effects on the environment and on us.
The Plastic Free July challenge encourages you to take a step back from these single-use plastics and be an active participant in a cleaner tomorrow.
