Eclipse Glasses Free while supplies last!

August 21, 1:30-4:30 (expected window of partial eclipse)

 

Get ready for the Eclipse! View this rare celestial event safely among our experts at the VLM. We will offer telescope views of the Sun throughout the eclipse and provide eclipse glasses  to our visitors for direct viewing. In inclement weather, we will attempt to display a live webcast of the total solar eclipse in the Abbitt Planetarium for all to enjoy. 

Cost: Viewing included in museum admission.  Eclipse glasses free while supplies last.

The Great American Eclipse is coming! In August, the United States will experience a rare and marvelous event – a  total eclipse of the Sun. Join us for this timely program that will give you all the information you need to know about how, when and where to view this astronomical spectacle safely.

August 21 Showtimes: 10:30-11:30, 11:30-12:30, 12:30-1:30

Cost: VLM members free, non-members $4 plus Museum admission.
