Virginia Living Museum Launches Mobile APP
Plan your visit to Virginia’s Animal Attraction in the palm of your hand
Newport News, VA (July 30, 2019) – The Virginia Living Museum launched its mobile app July 23 and it is now available free on iOS and Android platforms. The technology is new for the Virginia Living Museum and features helpful options for users including interactive maps, animal descriptions, a daily calendar and more.
Highlights of the VLM App include an interactive map with GPS capabilities, that helps users navigate their way through the Museum’s outdoor trail and Dinosaur Discovery Trail, interior maps of the Museum’s entrance and lower levels, animal photos and descriptions, daily calendar of events, membership and ticket information, latest exhibit listings and ways to stay connected to the Museum’s ongoing events and activities.
“The VLM App will help our guests better navigate the campus and also helps eliminate paper maps,” says Rebecca Kleinhample, Virginia Living Museum Executive Director. “This is yet another way to provide a wonderful guest experience while also conserving and preserving our natural resources.”
Users should make sure app notifications are enabled on their devices to receive the latest news and special opportunities at the Museum.
The museum is located at 524 J. Clyde Morris Blvd., Newport News, I64, exit 258A. Admission is $20 adults and $15 children (ages 3-12). Children ages 2 and under are free. For more information call 757-595-1900 or visit the web site at thevlm.org.
The Virginia Living Museum is a non-profit 501(c) 3 museum and education center whose mission is connecting people to nature through educational experiences that promote conservation.
