Wild Side Café
Located inside the Virginia Living Museum, the Wild Side Café offers breakfast, lunch and snack items. There is relaxing indoor seating for about 45, plus outdoor seating in a patio area flanking the beautiful conservation garden. Museum members receive a 10% discount on all café purchases.
- All straws are now biodegradable paper.
- Utensils are 100% cornstarch and biodegradable.
- Napkins are 10% post-recyclable material and unbleached.
- Paper serving tray is made from 100% renewable resources.
- Plates are made from 100% bagasse; sugar cane fiber that is a ‘waste’ byproduct and compostable.

Items include muffins, cereal and breakfast biscuits along with other staples of a traditional continental breakfast.
Cold lunch items include made-to-order chicken, tuna and egg salad sandwiches and wraps. Hot/grilled lunch items include burgers, fish sandwiches, grilled chicken, pulled pork barbecue, chili, Italian sausage sub sandwiches and personal pizzas. Check out new menu specials.
The menu features vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items. Along with garden fresh side and entree salads, vegetarian items include chili, pizzas, sandwiches and burgers. Offerings include a garden burger from Morning Star Farms (vegan product), veggie chicken salad sandwich (made with soy/wheat chicken alternative) and a quesadilla (made with chicken alternative, cheddar, olives and picante relish).
