The Virginia Living Museum is proud to support our community through select free outreach appearances at local events, festivals, schools, and nonprofit programs throughout Hampton Roads.
This request form is intended for community-based events seeking a free Virginia Living Museum outreach presence. Due to staff and animal availability, requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and submission does not guarantee participation.
Before You Submit Your Request
Please use this form only for:
- Free community events
- Nonprofit or community partner programs
- Educational festivals or outreach opportunities
- Events where the Museum is invited as a community participant

Outreach Request Guidelines
Requests are prioritized for:
- Community-focused events within Hampton Roads
- Nonprofit organizations and schools
- Family-friendly and educational events
- Events aligned with the Museum’s mission of science, conservation, and education
Please note:
- Submission of a request does not guarantee participation
- Requests should be submitted at least 4–6 weeks in advance
- Outreach appearances are based on staff, volunteer, and animal availability
- The Museum may not be able to attend events with vendor fees or extensive setup requirements
- Some outreach activities may not include live animals
