Group Visits

Welcome Groups!

The Virginia Living Museum makes group visits easy, memorable, and fun for all ages. Conveniently located just two miles off I-64 and only 20 miles from Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown, we’re a perfect addition to any Hampton Roads itinerary.

Explore Virginia’s natural world from the mountains to the coast through immersive exhibits featuring native wildlife, plants, and habitats. Most groups spend 1–2 hours touring the Museum, with additional time available for enhanced experiences such as:

  • Digital planetarium shows
  • Behind-the-scenes keeper experiences
  • Up-close ambassador animal encounters

Looking for a performance venue? Pair your visit with a performance in our outdoor amphitheater or entrance courtyard.

Group leaders, travel agents, tour operators, and receptive operators are invited to visit anytime for a complimentary familiarization tour. We look forward to helping your group create a truly wild and unforgettable experience at the Virginia Living Museum.
