Adopt a Wild Thing

As a Wild Thing adopter, you are helping to pay for food, shelter and care for your own special animal friend. All Wild Thing adopters receive an official adoption certificate, information about their animal and a customizable thank you note. Choose our top package and also receive a plush toy of the animal you adopted! Everyone receives the satisfaction of knowing they are bringing happiness to the Virginia Living Museum animals.

How Do I Pick My Animal?

Choosing a new member of your family can be a lot of fun! Just select the animal you want to adopt by clicking the “Adopt this Animal” on the chosen animal below! In the special notes box at checkout, please write in the name of the person adopting the selected animal.

*If you would like to receive your Adopt a Wild Thing by Christmas, please submit your adoption by December 15th.

Adopt a Wild Thing makes a great birthday gift, holiday gift, or gift for any occasion!
