Endangered EncounterThis is your chance to meet up close and personal the museum’s federal and state endangered and threatened species. From Sturgeon to Sea Turtle to Red Wolf to the comeback story of the majestic Bald Eagle, this special tour explores the status of these fragile creatures and their future survival. Led by Curatorial Director, George Mathews, you will tour throughout the museum and behind the scenes to see how these at risk animals live, and why they are protected. Your tour will bring you to see many of the following protected animals:
